5. Wettkampfklassen      

Mixed Teams (Bootsbesetzung: 8 - 10 Paddler + 1 Trommler/-in, mind. 4 Frauen)

Damenteams (Bootsbesetzung: 8 - 10 + 1 Trommler/-in)

Open (Bootsbesetzung: 8-10 PaddlerInnen + 1 Trommler/-in) 

Jeder Teilnehmer nimmt auf eigene Gefahr teil und versichert, dass er 100 Meter in seiner jeweiligen Kleidung schwimmen kann. Mindestalter ist 14 Jahre.

7. Boote

Boote (Junior Dragon Boat), Paddel und Steuerleute werden vom Veranstalter bei Bedarf gestellt. Eigene Steuerleute sind nach Absprache mit der Rennleitung erlaubt.

Die Nutzung von Sprechanlagen im Boot ist gestattet


8. Siegerehrung

Die Siegerehrung der Regatta wird ab 17:30 Uhr beim WRC Pirat stattfinden, im Anschluss findet die Feier statt.


9. Haftung

Sollte der Start des Drachenbootrennens aufgrund sicherheitsrelevanter Fragen nicht erfolgen können, besteht kein Anspruch auf die volle Rückerstattung der Startgebühr. Diese Entscheidung wird ausschließlich von den Dienst habenden Rettungsschwimmern der Wasserrettung in Abstimmung mit dem Veranstalter getroffen. Die eventuelle Höhe einer Rückerstattung kann aus organisatorischen Gründen erst am Tag der

Veranstaltung von uns bekannt gegeben werden.


Maximale Teamzahl: Um die Veranstaltung reibungslos durchführen zu können, müssen wir die Teamanzahl auf 20 begrenzen.


10. Recht am eigenen Bild

Der Veranstalter und durch ihn beauftragte Dritte sind berechtigt, im Rahmen der Veranstaltungen Video-, Bild- und Tonaufnahmen der Besucher ohne Vergütung für die abgebildeten Personen herzustellen und in jeder Art und Weise umfassend in allen bekannten und zukünftigen Medien zu nutzen oder nutzen zu lassen, insbesondere zur Berichterstattung in allen Medien eingeschlossen Internet, auf Ton- oder Bildtonträgern sowie zur Bewerbung der Veranstaltung, zur Sponsorenakquise und zu allen sonstigen Tätigkeiten des Veranstalters. Sämtliche Rechte dürfen auch zu vorstehenden Zwecken auf Dritte übertragen werden.

4. Entry Fee
€ 180.- per boat

5. Competition Classes 
Mixed Teams (boat crew: 8 - 10 paddlers + 1 drummer, min. 4 women)
Women's teams (boat crew: 8-10 paddlers + 1 drummer)

Open (boat crew: 8-10 paddlers + 1 drummer)
Each participant takes part at their own risk and assures that they can swim 100 metres in their respective clothing. Minimum age is 14 years.

7. Boats
Boats (Junior Dragon Boat), paddles and coxswain.
The use of coxbox systems in the boat is permitted.


8. Winning Ceremony
The award ceremony of the regatta will take place from 17:30 at the WRC Pirat, followed by a party.

9. Liability
Should the Dragon Boat Race not be able to start due to safety issues, there is no right to a full refund of the entry fee. This decision will be made exclusively by the lifeguards of the water rescue service on duty in consultation with the organiser. The possible amount of a refund can only be announced for organisational reasons only the day of the event.

Maximum number of teams: In order to run the event smoothly, we have to limit the number of teams to 20.


10. Right to one's own image 

The organiser and third parties commissioned by him are entitled to make video, image and sound recordings of the visitors within the framework of the events without remuneration for the persons depicted and to use them or have them used in any way and comprehensively in all known and future media, in particular for reporting in all media, including the Internet, on audio or video carriers, as well as for advertising the event, for sponsor acquisition and for all other activities of the organiser. All rights may also be transferred to third parties for the above purposes.

Der Streckenverlauf

Racetrack

Die Regatta beginnt und endet vor dem gastgebenden Club "Pirat", wo alle Zuschauer und Mannschaftskameraden von zwei Terrassen aus eine gute Sicht haben werden.

Es wird mehrere Abteilungen geben, in denen jeweils etwa 10 Boote einen Massenstart haben werden.

Auf den ersten 1.000 Metern ist die Alte Donau sehr breit - danach wird sie etwas schmaler. Achten Sie also auf eine gute Position bei der Einfahrt in die Gänsehäufel-Insel.


DIE WENDE

Fast die Hälfte der gesamten Strecke ist geschafft (ca. 2,2 km) - jetzt ist es Zeit für die Rennwende. Sie wird durch zwei Bojen markiert, und es liegt an dir, herauszufinden, ob es besser ist, mit hoher Geschwindigkeit weiter zu rudern und eine lange Wende zu machen, oder das Boot anzuhalten und dicht an den Bojen zu bleiben. Auf jeden Fall wird die Mannschaft auf der Backbordseite das größere Glück haben. Und bitte mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht - die Fotografen werden dort sehr aktiv sein.


DER ENGE PUNKT

Beim Passieren der engen Stelle können Sie sich auf einige "Gespräche" mit anderen Booten einstellen. Hier ist Platz für zwei Boote nebeneinander, aber definitiv nicht für drei.

Das Gute an der Engstelle: Es sind nur noch 1.000m bis zum Ziel.


The race will start and end in front of the hosting Club „Pirat“ where all spectators and team mates will have a great view from two terraces.

There will be several divisions, in each one approximately 10 boats will have a mass start.

During the first 1.000 meters the Old Danube is very wide – after that it’s getting a little bit narrower. So be sure to be in a good position when entering the „Gänsehäufel island“.

 

THE RACE TURNAROUND

Almost half of the whole track finished (around 2,2km) – now it’s time for the race turnaround. It will be marked by two buoys, and it’s up to you to find out if it’s better to go on rowing with high speed and take a long turn, or stop the boat and stay tight to the buoys. Anyway, surely the port side crew will be the luckier one. And please have a smile on your face – the photographers will be very active there.

 

THE TIGHT SPOT

You may get prepared for some „conversation“ with other boats when passing the tight spot. There‘s space for two boats neck and neck, but definitely not for three.

Good thing about the tight spot: it‘s only 1.000m to go.
